My symptoms - I have decided to post a series of video links that I have done to demonstrate how my condition impacts me and how it can fluctuate. Myasthenia Gravis can be quite difficult to explain as the symptoms are cyclical and can be OK one day and bad the next. Many people find that different things trigger their symptoms, this can be fatigue, temperature changes, stress levels and many other factors.
01/01/2014 - This video shows how the symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis affect me. I was diagnosed with MG when I was 17 years old and have been trying to manage my symptoms in various ways since then. I am now 23 years old and have recently seen a relapse in my symptoms hence why I have decided to create this video to show how it impacts me. It shows them at their worst, which impacts my ability to speak and move my facial muscles. It also makes me sound upset and have a nasal voice as a result of weakness in my soft pallet and other facial muscles. The reason I am posting this is to help raise awareness about the condition as it is often difficult to describe to people who have not come across it before.

05/01/2014 - This video shows me when my symptoms are not too bad. It is a good thing to compare the two videos so that you can see how Myasthenia Gravis impacts me as it can often be difficult to explain!
